Raipur: Training for the upcoming kindergarten teachers began today in Raipur. Teachers would be given a five-day training in pre-linguistic skills, pre-mathematics and educational games used for teaching kids up to 6 years.
This training session began after the Chhattisgarh cabinet on the 18th of February, approved the School Education department’s proposal to start Kindergarten classes (Balwadi).
The cabinet decided to establish these centres in 6536 locations of the state where Anganwadi centres would be included in the school premises. As per information by officials in the know, the initiative would benefit 68,054 out of 3,23,624 students in the age group 5-6 years across the state.
