Raipur: The suspicions came when the RPF task team noticed these differentiated trolley bags, indicating a person in a particularly unusual manner as the rest of the passengers were dressed in similar attire. They felt some kind of indisposition, and then carried out a check on a woman’s bag. But that didn’t stop; she kept on protesting a lot. She feebly resisted, but upon opening the bag, cannabis was detected as a minor offense. Immediately after, the police team caught two men with ganja worth INR 636000 wonder from their possession. From the gathered facts, the 31 ganja packets numbering 31.840 kgs in weight (equivalent to 6,36,800 rupees allegedly) are the substance seized. The confiscated drug was submitted to the Office of the NCB, Raipur, with the necessity of legal proceedings under the NDPS Act.

This was a lead operation headed by SI Taruna Sahu, ASI Narendra, and another Constable, Mr Shamsher Singh, from the Raipur police station, which had adopted a resolve to implement the aftermath of the settlement. The materials after the seizure (had been) transferred to Nikhil Begum and Sudam, both of whom were residents of Nagpur, for processing under the purview of the Narcotics Department.

A team of the RPF task group reached a specific place, and as a result, the large volume of prohibited drugs in the area was exposed and confiscated. These facts indicate that the police agencies are determined to bring down all the illicit drugs on board, thus safeguarding the passengers and the community’s safety.

Effective teamwork between law enforcement agencies and highly aware citizens is essential for the successful fight against the drug trafficking epidemic. They not only dismember the running drug trade operations but also work as a warning to those wishing to deal in that area. That authorities deserve credit for preventing and confiscating drugs of war is a valid conclusion that may be easily drawn from this statement and one that demonstrates the degree of effort put in for the sake of society’s safety from the harmful effects of narcotics.
