Raipur: Four cases of swine flu have been notified by a private hospital in Patna, health officials reported on Friday. Currently, two patients are undergoing treatment at the Ramakrishna hospital in the Capital city informed Dr Girish Agarwal Pulmonary Specialist.  Another infected individual is identified as a 30-year-old woman hailing from Tilda, who is undergoing treatment.  Out of the remaining two, one is admitted at the Suyash Hospital while another private hospital is reportedly catering medical support to the fourth patient.

Health officials have been working to gather appropriate data and records from the private facilities. Dr Agarwal addressing the spread of the flu has instructed all to follow strict hygiene protocols and approach medical help in time. Dr Rakesh Gupta the Chairman of the hospital asserted timely intervention on detection of infection.

Several states across the nation had reported the detection of Swine Flu in recent days.  According to Health Authorities, Chhattisgarh has detected Swine flu after a hiatus of three years.
