Raipur: On the last day of Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav 2025, the skies of Naya Raipur are going to be filled with the colours of patriotism and excitement. The Suryakiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) of the Indian Air Force and the Akash Ganga Paratrooper Team will display their amazing stunts in the skies of Naya Raipur. This historic air show will be held today between 10 am and 12 noon over Sendh Talab in Naya Raipur (Atal Nagar). Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, Governor Ramen Deka, CM Sai will attend the event.
Surya Kiran fighter planes will perform rapid maneuvers and fly at altitudes ranging from 100 feet to 10,000 feet. The show is designed to be clearly visible to people within a 10-15 km radius and to showcase the valor of the Indian Army. The
Surya Kiran team consists of Hawk Mark 132 aircraft manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. This fighter plane is also used during fighter pilot training. The Surya Kiran team’s last display in Raipur was 15 years ago, in which the Surya Kiran Mark 2 fighter plane participated.
