Surajpur: CM Bhupesh Baghel is on a tour in the state under a campaign. In which he is meeting people and getting information about various schemes of the state government. Meanwhile, action is also being taken against the officials of the concerned department on the complaints of the people. On receiving the complaints of the people, CM Bhupesh had instructed to remove the CEO of District Panchayat, Rahul Dev.
As soon as CM Bhupesh took off from Surajpur, the General Administration Department issued an order to remove him from his position. Leena Kosam has been given the responsibility of Surajpur District Panchayat CEO in his place. CM Bhupesh had set up Jan Choupal in Premnagar of Surajpur district.
During the meeting, people accused CEO Rahul Dev of commission evasion. After which CM Bhupesh had ordered for investigation and action. Along with this, orders were also given for his transfer so that the investigation is not affected. IAS 2016 batch Rahul Dev has now been made Additional Collector in Janjgir-Champa district.
