Rajnandgaon: Only 5 days are left in the Khairagarh by-election. Congress and BJP have given their full strength in four days due to the ban on campaigning 24 hours ago. In Khairagarh, where Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel himself has taken the front from the Congress, the BJP is preparing to launch an army of central leaders. It has started with the public meeting of Union Minister of State Prahlad Patel on Wednesday.
The Union Minister has reached Amlidihkala from Bhilai. Following this, he did public relations in Pipariya at 1 pm and will address the general meeting at Chuikhdan’s Udaipur at 4 pm. Union Minister of State for Food, Industry and Jal Shakti Prahlad Singh Patel has reached Khairagarh on a two-day election tour for public relations in favour of BJP candidate Komal Janghel. Next day on 7th April, Union Minister of State Patel will hold a public meeting at Rahul in Khairagarh Rural Mandal at 11 and Bhorampurkala at 1 pm and finally in Jalbandha of Khairagarh rural Mandal at 4 pm.
The public meeting of the Chief Minister has started from noon on the third day, while Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will be on his stay in Khairagarh on Wednesday. He has gone out on campaign in favour of Congress candidate Yashoda Verma. On the third day, the CM’s public meeting will be held at village Saloni at 2 pm. After this, Chief Minister Baghel will address the general meeting at Bijaldehi at 3.05 pm, Ataria at 4.05 pm and then in village Borai at 5.05 pm. Along with him, cabinet minister Ravindra Choubey and other leaders are also involved in the campaign.
