Chhattisgarh: Kisan Mahapanchayat to be organized on 28th September in Rajim under the banner of Chhattisgarh Kisaan Mazdoor Mahasangh announced SKM. The protest would be attended by eminent personalities like Rakesh Takait himself along with Yogendra Yadav and Dr Darshan Pal.
Meanwhile, farmers in Karnal had called for a Mahapachayat that commenced on Tuesday. Entering the third day today, the protestors stay put at the gate of the mini-secretariat complex. The Haryana govt imposed an extended suspension of Mobile internet services in the district till today midnight, as per the orders of the State Home Department.
The protestors have decided to hold an indefinite strike at the district headquarters unless their demands have been reconsidered. Farmers have been staging protests in several states of the nation for 9 months now demanding a re-amendment of the three contentious farm laws.
