Raipur: A House team from Kreeda Bharati called on Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. The delegation also said thank you for the recognition and honour given to the athletes of Chhattisgarh during the meeting. They particularly appreciated the sentiments of the Chief Minister of the state over the formation of a committee to choose the best athletes in the state, which was an indication of the state’s desire to nurture talents in sports.

On this occasion, the delegation also insisted on the need to put in place a rich sports society in Chhattisgarh. Such called on the Chief Minister to convene a State Sports Festival, which they know would be a historic event in the promotion of sporting activities and discovery of talents in the states. The particular festival includes athletes of different kinds of sports activities to provide them with a platform where they can compete and obtain state-level recognition.

The delegation emphasized that such stimulated activities are important to develop sports in the concerned state because they not only encourage the athletes but also benefit the larger population of the state. This, they declared, shall be facilitated via the State Sports Festival, which they said would boost the discovery of raw talent and provide them the support and motivation required to carve out sporting careers.

The said meeting involved some important office bearers of Kreeda Bharati Chhattisgarh State – President Sanjay Sharma, Provincial Minister Sumit Upadhyay, Provincial Vice Presidents Neeta Dumre, Harsha Sahu, Chhagan Sonwani, Saurav Soni and Satish Yadav. The presence of such prominent personalities increases the relevance of the discussion, and the involvement of Kreeda Bharati elevates the sports facilities and opportunities for Chhattisgarh.

In general, the meeting extended appreciation for the progress it brought in improving the state’s sports system. The delegation felt optimistic that their proposed recommendations would result in the state making more enhancements in the next sessions.
