Chhattisgarh: A female has filed a case against an SI of Raipur Police on 28th August, accusing him of raping him and harassing her for 16 years.
The accused SI identified as Ajaykant Tiwari (35) is a resident of Ratnapura. As per the information given in by the victim, Tiwari had been harassing him and threatening her to make obscene videos and make them viral on social media. The accused was arrested from his friend’s residence in Housing Board Colony on Sunday after a team of police officials were engaged.
Sources reveal the girl and SI had been friends since 2004 and later committed to each other as lovers. Following which both maintained a physical relationship, of which the SI captured a video and threatened the girl. However, despite getting married in the year 2020, the SI continued to threaten the girl and so she resorted to lodging a complaint against him.
The SI was earlier stationed at the Ambagarh outpost of Rajnandangaon following which he was transferred to Raipur Police Station. Currently, he is posted at the Raipur Civil Lines Police Station.
