Gariaband. Security forces have achieved a major success on Friday in Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh. Secret dumps of Naxalites have been recovered at different places in the Gobara hill forest of Mainpur police station area. From where many items including single shot barrel, IED bomb, Naxal literature have been recovered.
According to the information, District Police Force E-30 Operation Team Gariaband has carried out the operation. Naxalites of Gariaband, Dhamtari and Nuapada division had hidden many items along with weapons in the Gobra hill forest to harm the soldiers. SP Nikhil Rakheja has confirmed this.
The security forces have recovered several items including IED bombs made of steel containers, Naxal literature, 57 firecracker bombs, Naxal uniforms, single shot barrels etc from the secret dump of Naxals.
