Raipur: CM Bhupesh Baghel inaugrated the Sarangarh-Bilaigarh and Khairagarh-Chuikhadan-Gandai district on Saturday at Sarangarh. People from sections of the society welcomed Baghel as per their traditions.
Prior to inuagrating the districts, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the collector’s office. The building is 2 storyed with 18 different rooms. Similarly, offices of the Additional Collector, Joint Collector, Deputy Collector and Finance Branch, Nazir, Food Branch, Land Records Branch, Revenue Records Branch, Najul Branch, Local Election Branch, General Election Branch, Land Acquisition Branch, Grievance Branch, Jan Darshan Branch etc are situated in the building.
Addressing the gathering, Baghel Congratulated them and promised to develop the district at par with others.
Earlier on Friday, he inaugurated the Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh, carved out of Rajnandgaon district. Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai is also carved out of Rajnandgaon.
Raigarh district, known for housing major industries, has been bifurcated to form Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. The headquarter of the Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district will be Sarangarh, located on the Raigarh-Raipur state highway 200.
