Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will undertake visits to Kanker and Bemetara districts today. He will depart for Kanker district at 12:00 PM. In Kanker Lok Sabha constituency, candidate Bhojraj Nag will participate in the nomination rally. CM Sai will reach Bemetara district at 3:30 PM, where he will address a massive public gathering in Parapodi. Following this, CM Sai will return to the capital at 5:00 PM. In the second phase, several prominent candidates will submit their nominations today. Former CM Bhupesh Baghel will file his nomination from Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency.
Former minister Tamradhwaj Sahu will submit his nomination from Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency. Candidate Biresh Thakur will also submit his nomination from Kanker Lok Sabha constituency. During the nomination process, prominent leaders including PCC Chief Deepak Baij and opposition leader Dr. Charandas Mahant will be present. It should be noted that the deadline for filing nominations for the second phase is April 4.
Tomorrow will mark the arrival of the second installment of the Mahatari Vandana Scheme.
Women across the state are eagerly awaiting the second installment of the Mahatari Vandana Scheme, scheduled to arrive tomorrow, April 3. Due to the end of the financial year, the installment could not be disbursed on April 1. Previously, nearly 70 lakh women benefited from the Mahatari Vandana Scheme, with the Chief Minister allocating a sum of 655 crore rupees.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao will remain on tour in Bilaspur and Kanker districts. Deputy CM Sao will depart for Bilaspur at 10:40 AM, where he will participate in a workers’ convention. At 12:30 PM, he will travel from Bilaspur to Kanker. In Kanker, he will join the nomination rally of BJP candidate Bhojraj Nag.
