Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, the process intensifies as the state is making the final preparations for the last phase of voting on the remaining 7 seats to be held on the seventh of May. CM Vishnudev Sai continued with his battles while speaking in a row of public meetings in order to spread the message of the BJP and to gather support for its candidates at the grassroots level. Deepak Baij, State President of Congress, begins a safari in the afternoon. He tours the Balrampur, Baloudabazar, Ambikapur, and Surajpur districts. The Baij rallies aim to provide appearances of the party leaders in mass meetings strategically convened in Tharganv and Mandnagar, where they articulate the Congress vision and ask the public to vote for their candidates.
