Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, the process intensifies as the state is making the final preparations for the last phase of voting on the remaining 7 seats to be held on the seventh of May. In this context, both parties are playing a fair game, deploying the full resources on hand and meeting all voters in every community of the state. CM Vishnudev Sai continued with his battles while speaking in a row of public meetings in order to spread the message of the BJP and to gather support for its candidates at the grassroots level. His (Vishnudeo Sai) physical presence can be felt mainly in Bemetara, Manendragarh, and Raipur, where he spends a great time communicating with voters and doing his campaign.

However, opposition leaders like senior Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel continue to intensify their rallying activities through public interactions. The candidate kicks off an outreach campaign today with his tour of Durg district where he is expected to visit more than 15 localities and speak for Congress party matters and candidates. Baghel’s involvement in aggressive yet interactive groundwork not only points to the significance of individual voting engagement but also underscores the pivotal role direct voter contact plays in the electoral process.

Deepak Baij, State President of Congress, begins a safari in the afternoon. He tours the Balrampur, Baloudabazar, Ambikapur, and Surajpur districts. The Baij rallies aim to provide appearances of the party leaders in mass meetings strategically convened in Tharganv and Mandnagar, where they articulate the Congress vision and ask the public to vote for their candidates.

With the summer season, the problem has come back as the inhabitants, animals, and the ecosystem face the same high temperature that has been caused by the excessive heat of the sun. The imminent heat wave for at least the next 48 hours, as announced by the meteorological department, clearly indicates the existing problems people have to deal with. While the dry heat coupled with scorching winds intensifies the heatwave, this additionally puts local populations at risk of getting health disorders and districts like Raigarh, Janjgir, Rajnandgaon, and Kanker endangered.
