Chhattisgarh is ruled by the BJP Party, headed by the Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who has served a full two years in office. To celebrate the day, the Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao termed the milestone historic and indicated that the last two years have been characterised by massive success in the leadership of the Chief Minister.
Going to the media, Arun Sao said that the government has been striving to achieve the dreams of every group of people, such as farmers, the youth, women, landless families, and the poor in the country. He claimed that the promises given under the Guarantee of the time of Modi are being implemented on the ground, and the government is gradually fulfilling the promises under which it assumed power. In his opinion, the administration is constantly working towards the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh, with its development, good governance, and welfare of the people.
The Deputy CM reminded that at the very first cabinet meeting on the establishment of the government, the major decisions were made when it came to the implementation of the Guarantee made by Modi. In the last two years, there were various key policy choices and welfare programs, which show that the government is interested in inclusive growth and open administration. The government is planning different programmes to be carried out on completion of two years, so as to showcase its achievements in the state.
Talking of the winter session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly, Arun Sao added that the session would start on Sunday. He said that a special discussion on Vision 2047 will be held, and a debate on Vande Mataram will also happen. In reaction to the boycott of the Vision 2047 discussion by the Opposition, he reported that this was their personal choice and that the Assembly is a forum of dialogue and debate. He further stated that an upright Opposition was supposed to be involved in deliberations concerning the future of the state.
