Raipur: In view of the red alert sounded by IMD, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has instructed all district collectors, superintendents of police and urban bodies to stay put.
As per the notice issues by IMD, the cyclone near Orissa has intensified which may cause heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of the state excluding Sarguja. Disaster Management team has been deployed in potentially affected low lying areas of the state. Temporary relief camps have also been set up to accomadate those evacuated from the flood affected areas.
District Police Force, Revenue Department, Health Department, Public Health Engineering, Electricity Department, Public Works, Food Department,and Urban bodies of the affected districts have been given instructions to monitor water logging and drainage.
