Raipur: The education system in Chhattisgarh has seen significant improvements in the past three years. The state government has implemented a number of reforms aimed at improving access, quality, and equity in education.

“Earlier accounts were opened in ‘Panama’, today schools and colleges are opening in Chhattisgarh. It’s a matter of self-respect our first vote”, tweeted CM Baghel.

One of the most significant reforms has been the introduction of the Chhattisgarh Accelerated Learning for a Knowledge Economy Operation (CHALK) project. This project is funded by the World Bank and is aimed at improving the quality of education in government-run schools in the state. The project has focused on providing training for teachers, improving infrastructure, and developing new learning materials.

Another major reform has been the introduction of the Mukhyamantri Kanya Shiksha Sahayata Yojana (MKSSY). This scheme provides financial assistance to girls from families below the poverty line to help them continue their education. The scheme has been very successful in increasing enrollment rates for girls in Chhattisgarh.

The state government has also taken steps to improve access to education in remote areas. This includes the construction of new schools, the provision of transportation for students, and the use of distance learning technologies.

As a result of these reforms, the education system in Chhattisgarh has seen significant improvements in the past three years. Enrollment rates have increased, the quality of education has improved, and access to education has been made more equitable.

The enrollment rate for girls in primary school has increased from 85% to 95%. The pass rate for the Class 10 board exams has increased from 65% to 80%. The number of schools with computer labs has increased from 10% to 50%. The number of schools with internet access has increased from 5% to 25%.

These are just a few examples of the progress that has been made in improving education in Chhattisgarh. There is still more work to be done, but the state government is committed to providing all children with a quality education.
