Raipur: A victim has filed a case in DD Nagar police station alleging rape. This allegation has been leveled against NSUI leader Nikhil Baghel, after which the police have registered a crime. According to the information received from the police, the accused Nikhil Baghel raped her by taking her to his home on the pretext of taking her from the gym to a cafe. According to the police, the victim is preparing for BBA and NEET.
According to the victim, on February 1, Nikhil started messaging the victim on WhatsApp and insisted on meeting her. He called the victim at around 7.20 pm and said that he was standing below the gym and wanted to come to meet the victim. “I went down to meet Nikhil Baghel, then he told that he owns a cafe named The Buzz nearby in Sundernagar, let’s go there and talk”, said the victim.
The victim alleges that she trusted Nikhil and went away on the bike. But, instead of taking me to the café, he took me to his home. Said that mom is at home, you go inside. Then Nikhil went to the kitchen to make tea. After that he took me to the bedroom and forcibly had physical relations with me.
He promised that I would marry you. After this he left me near the gym and said that he was going to the wedding. The victim informed her family about the matter. On which a report was lodged in DD Nagar police station. At present the police is investigating the matter.
