Raipur: Raipur Police has achieved great success in breaking the main link of the supply chain of pills used in intoxication in Chhattisgarh. The police arrested Viral Mukesh Bhai Patel, director of Gujarat’s V-Care Health Care Company, the manufacturer of these pills from Gandhi Nagar in Gujarat.

The accused had opened V-Care office in Mehsana and was continuously supplying and producing tablets and syrups in Himachal Pradesh. Sources reveal that Chhattisgarh Police has already arrested the people accused of sale, distributing, and supplying these tablets and syrups. The Police has registered non-bailable case against them.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) CT Abhishek Maheshwari and SSP Paschim Devcharan Patel told that the prime accused Viral Mukesh Bhai Patel was trading these medicines through Chhattisgarh based businessman Aakash Vishkarma. The accused also traded in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. Almost 80 per cent of the supply was delivered to Jabalpur based Maa Narmada Company.
