Raipur: Passengers on board Raipur- Indore Indigo flight witnessed a strange incident on July 5 when smoke was detected in the cabin of flight. The aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation on Wednesday issued a statement that the incident took place after landing on Tuesday and all the passengers are safe. The Indigo Airbus A320 (VT-IJY) was operating as 6E-905 from Raipur to Indore when the incident was reported.
The DGCA has sought a detailed report from Airlines regarding the incident. Technical glitches in airlines have become a common issue in the last three to four months.
Spice Jet flight in a recent incident made an emergency landing in Pakistan due to technical problems. The flight was off to Dubai and this is the sixth incident in three months from Spice Jet airlines.
Meanwhile, in June 2022 three flight incidents were reported from different states. The major one which was reported included a spice jet aircraft which was forcwd to make an emergency landing in Patna after the flight’s left wing caught fire. All 185 passengers were reportedly safe.
