Raipur: As many as 5 individuals have been infected with Swine flu officials said on Wednesday.
As per information by the state health department, 5 DSPs from Police Training Center, Chandkhuri reported positive to Swine flu on Tuesday after being subjected to tests. As many as 21 samples were taken out of which 5 were infected, an official said adding that they have been sent home.
Overall on Tuesday, the CMHO received information of 8 fresh infections which took the total count to 148. In Raipur alone around 68 active cases have been reported so far.
Around four have succumbed to the H1N1 virus while those recuperated are under home care.
