Raipur Collector Entitles 60 New COVID Care Centres; Strict Surveillance by the Nodal officers

Raipur: Chhattisgarh recording the highest infections and death toll has issued a new notice concerning the treatment. Raipur Collector S Bharti Dasan has announced 60 private hospitals that have established COVID centres to treat the infected. Nodal officers are being appointed to monitor these hospitals. These officers will resolve and monitor the grievances of the patients. 

In addition, these officers will monitor patient referrals, bed availability, morgue formalities. The state has also deduced the charges for the treatment in the private hospitals.

Due to the continuous complaints of families on extraction of huge amounts in the name of treatments led the government to take charge and decide the treatment charges in private hospitals.

The question arises if the nodal officer will be able to curb this arbitrariness or the state is going to report a corrupt health sector.
