Raipur: With the Road Safety World series’ last half to commence on September 27th, the Raipur administration on Monday held a meeting to lay out a preparation plan for the matches to be played in the state.
Under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, preparation for the semis and the finals were overseen in a meeting that saw the participation of officials from various departments including DGP Ashok Juneja and Additional Chief Secretary Sports and Welfare Renu Ji Pillay. Transport Commissioner Dipanshu Kabra was directed to hold the needful discussions with the Public Works Dept, NRDS, and Tourism for the arrangement of the movement of teams.
New Zealand Legends began their first-ever match for the Road Safety World Series on Monday at 7.30 pm against South Africa Legends at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. India Legends defeated South Africa Legends by a huge marge of 61 runs in the tournament opener.
