Korba: The Railway RPF Police has busted a youth who allegedly made a living by selling tickets. The defendant has been arrested in the same volume as 9 reserved tickets, 4 current tickets, and 5 old tickets. Moreover, the memorandum of compliance included computer, laptop, and monitor seizure. The police found that the accused, Ashif Sheikh, a Darri Jamnipali, Korba resident, was operating a shop named Unique Online and Choice Center.
A banner was hung in front of the shop indicating the railway reservation facility and other inclusive services. The accused used Personal User IDs to create a ticket scam. He has been reprimanded under section 143.
For a long period before the bust, Unique Online and Choice Center near Darri Jalgaon Chowk RPF Railway Police had to be aware of carrying out a business of selling through United Stations. As personal user IDs were used to produce tickets, they became an avenue for price discrimination through higher sale prices.
RPF station in-charge Satish Kumar arrived at the site with his team and launched an investigation. During this process, ticket making was identified using personal IDs, and 9 tickets were recorded from him. They took whatever computing equipment and other things that were there outside.
Online and Choice Center alone are required to fill out CSEB NTPC tender forms. Moreover, it is a one-stop shop for government service offerings of GST e-filing, railway registration, Aadhaar Card updates, electricity bills, driving license, vehicle/ motor insurance, birth/death certificates, income/occupation certificates, and caste/residence certificates as suggested by the board placed outside.
