Adani Power Limited, which possesses therapeutic assets such as an 800 MW thermal power plant on ultra-supercritical technology at Chhote Bhandar in District Raigarh, is planning to upgrade the potency of industrial development in Raigarh. This highly developed plant also has ESPs, which are used to purge gases and fly ash generated in power production. The emissions that are permitted to pass through are expelled through an appreciation chimney extending to 275 meters in height, thus encouraging the cleanness of the encompassing territory. This plant is fairly known to be environmentally sensitive and was endorsed by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as a single-use, plastic-free facility.
The Adani Power Limited of Chhote Bhandar was recently honored with two awards within the third versatile National Power Plant Environment Excellence Awards 2024 by the Council of Environmental Excellence (CEE). Such achievements were offered under the plant’s excellence in the management of the environment within the System IPP Independent Power Producers category within a private sector plant of more than 500 MW of capacity. Also, on environmental issues, the company plans to plant more than 200 thousand trees in the current year. Initiatives are also being taken to take ponds and try to make them deeper to enhance the issue of water retention.
The Pussore power plant management states that the plant is an ISO company that has acquired various certifications, including quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, energy, asset, quality and safety, and information security management certifications.
