Raipur: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has arrived in Chhattisgarh as part of his two-day visit. His schedule includes addressing election rallies in areas of Chhattisgarh. On the first day, Rahul Gandhi spoke at election gatherings in the Bhanupratappur and Farsagawa regions of the Kanker district. The event was attended by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy Chief Minister TS Singh Deo, Pradesh Congress Committee in charge Kumari Selja and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Charan Das Mahant. Moving on to the day of his tour, Rahul Gandhi will hold election rallies in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh particularly focusing on the constituency represented by former Chief Minister Raman Singh. The Congress has nominated Shankar Dhruv for the Kanker constituency Girish Devangan for Rajnandgaon, Savitri Mandavi for Bhanupratappur and Mohammad Akbar for Kawardha. During his visits, Rahul Gandhi will engage with the public directly. Establish a connection with common people.
On October 30th, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel plans to file his nomination from the Patan constituency in the Durg district. For this event, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will also be visiting Chhattisgarh.
Gandhi’s trip to the state is in line with the election campaign as Chhattisgarh gets ready for assembly elections.
