Raipur: On the occasion of Children’s Day, the Education Department is holding a two-day Jawaharlal Nehru National Education Conference in the capital Raipur on November 14th-15th at PanditDeendayalUpadhyay Auditorium, Science College Ground, Raipur. On November 14th at 11 AM, Chief Minister BhupeshBaghel inaugurated the National Education Conference. Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, the Minister of School Education, was also present at the event. Mr. Ajay Maken, former Union Minister, Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister, Mr. VikasUpadhyay, and Mr. Dwarkadhish Yadav, Parliamentary Secretaries Mr. VikasUpadhyay and Mr. Dwarkadhish Yadav, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Home Construction Board Mr. KuldeepJuneja, MLA Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma, Mayor Raipur Mr. Ejaz Dhebar, Chairman Chhattisgarh Textbook Corporation Shailesh Nitin Trivedi are the special guest.
Following the inaugural programme, Mr. Vinod Verma, Advisor to the Chief Minister, will shed light on the future of schools in all prospects, which will begin at 2 PM on November 14th in the main auditorium. Mr. Mekin Maheshwari, co-founder of the game organisation, will speak on the issue of vocational education and entrepreneurship, and attitude, while Mr. Narayanan Ramaswamy of National Leader Education and Skills will speak on the future of online learning in the third session. Dr. Abhijeet Banerjee, a Nobel Laureate, would conclude the program for the day with a virtual address.
On November 15th, the second day of ShikshaSamagam, the participants will visit the excellent schools of Raipur. Along with this, a presentation by the business community of different states in the main auditorium and conference hall from 9 AM shall be held. Rukmani Banerjee, CEO of Pratham Education Foundation, will give a lecture on the topic of better reconstruction – learning from education in Mahatari. This will be followed by a lecture on massive governance reforms by CPR chairman YaminiIyer and Premji University professor Rishikesh B.S. Subsequently, Senior Director of NIC A.K.Somashekar would educate the gathering on Tele practice, Empowerment of Early Years would be spoken about Dr DhirJhingaran, Founder Director of LLF Sanstha, MrBirajPatnaik, Executive Director, NIF would introduce the concept of Inclusion Classrooms. The program will end with a presentation of the report and felicitation of certificate of participation.
