KARWADHA, CG: An undertrial prisoner who was undergoing treatment at a district hospital escaped from the premises on the pretext of using the washroom on Thursday. The SP has ordered strict actions against the security personnel on duty at 6:30 pm due to whose negligence the prisoner managed to elope.
The accused identified as Sunny Chaurasia was detained by officials from Sarangpur police Fatehbad, UP on 31st October. He has been booked for crime number 65/22 under section 363,367(2)N, 342 of the IPC and POSCO Act. He was admitted to the district hospital on November 7th.
A search has been launched for the prisoner. Moreover, the SP has announced a bounty of Rs 5000 on the absconding accused.
