Raipur. President Draupadi Murmu will be on a visit to Bastar in Chhattisgarh today. She will fly from Bhubaneswar at 9.10 am and reach Maa Danteshwari Airport at 10.30 am. After this, the President will participate in the division-level inauguration program of Bastar Pandum organized at Lal Bagh ground. From 10.55 to 11.10 am, she will inspect the stalls set up at Bastar Pandum, while from 11.10 to 12.15 pm she will formally inaugurate the program. After staying in Chhattisgarh for about three hours, President Murmu will leave for Delhi from Raipur Airport at 1.30 pm.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Chhattisgarh today on a three-day visit. He will arrive at Raipur Airport on February 7th at 4:40 pm and depart for a private hotel. A series of meetings will begin on February 8th at 11 am, with a high-level meeting on Naxalism scheduled until 5 pm.

During this, a review meeting with central and state officials, including the Ministry of Emergency Situations (LWE) and various departments, will formulate a strategy. From 5 pm to 6:10 pm, he will attend a private function and spend the night at the hotel. On February 9th, Amit Shah will attend the closing ceremony of Bastar Pandum. He will arrive at Danteshwari Airport from Raipur by a special flight at 11 am and proceed to the venue by road. After attending the program from 12:05 pm to 4 pm, he will depart for Delhi from Jagdalpur at 4:20 pm.

President Murmu Chhattisgarh & Odisha Visit

The President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu will visit Odisha and Chhattisgarh from February 2 to 7, 2026. She will reach Bhubaneswar in the evening of February 2, 2026.

On February 3, the President will grace the convocation ceremony of Fakir Mohan University at Balasore and inaugurate its newly constructed Auditorium.

On February 4, the President will unveil the statue of Bhanjbir Sunaram Soren and interact with students at Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Mahuldiha, Rairangpur. She will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various projects such as the Government Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, OUAT Campus, Archery Centre, City beatification and drainage upgradation projects, various CSR projects and the MSCB University Information Technology Campus at Rairangpur.

On February 6, the President will interact with women and youth of tribal communities at Simlipal. She will also grace the ‘Black Swan Summit, India’ being organised by the Government of Odisha in collaboration with Global Finance and Technology Network, at Bhubaneswar.

On February 7, the President will inaugurate the ‘Bastar Pandum 2026’ festival at Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh.
