Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the permanent campus of IIT Bhilai today through virtual medium. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Union Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan and MP Vijay Baghel will be present in the program. The IIT campus is built on an area of about 400 acres. The foundation stone for the construction of IIT was laid by Prime Minister Modi on 14 June 2018.
Its construction work started on 8 July 2020. Rs 1090 crore 18 lakh were sanctioned for IIT by the Union Education Ministry. Lecture halls, seminar rooms, class rooms etc. have been made in the building. The buildings constructed in Bhilai IIT are named after the major rivers and mountains of Chhattisgarh.
The prime minister will also inaugurate AIIMS Jammu to cater healthcare needs of the state. “Delighted that AIIMS Jammu will be inaugurated tomorrow. This will cater to the healthcare needs of the region and will benefit several people”, PM Modi informed on X.

After the applications come, the forms will have to be sorted. The public portal designated for online application will also be closed after 6 pm today. Women will be able to submit applications offline in the designated centers only till 6 pm. The first installment under the scheme will be given on March 8.

Provisions will be made under 17 points in the Chhattisgarh Religious Freedom Act. The draft has been prepared after studying three states. The draft has been prepared from the laws of UP, MP and Haryana.
