Durg: PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express by flagging it off. Modi will flag it off at 4:15 pm through video conferencing. According to the information, Vande Bharat Express train service will be available six days a week. Now the distance of 565 km will be covered in just eight hours.
On the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, a state level workers’ conference is being organized today under the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and under the chairmanship of Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan. This conference will be held in the Krishi Mandapam of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Jora in the capital.
In this program organized by the Labor Department, eligible beneficiaries are to be benefited with assistance amount as per the provision in the scheme from the applications received online under 30 public welfare schemes operated for registered construction workers and their family members under Chhattisgarh Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Along with this, the efforts and successes of the department being done in the interest of workers under the program will also be displayed through stalls of various activities.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be on a tour of Gujarat today as well. On the second day of his tour, the CM will attend the Global Renewable Energy Investors Meet and Expo program organized in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He will attend the program from 10 am to 1 pm. After this, he will leave for Raipur at 3 pm.
Today is the second day of Congress in-charge Sachin Pilot’s visit to Chhattisgarh. Pilot will hold a meeting with senior leaders at Congress Bhawan, in which the by-elections to be held in the South Assembly and the urban body elections will be discussed.
