Sakati: Appearing at the BJP venue in the village of Jetha in Sakati tehsil, Prime Minister Narendra Modi left no stone unturned in lambasting the Congress party for encouraging religion-based division in the country even after India emerged as an independent one. Modi slammed Congress’s policy of vote bank politics, which they called appeasement policy. He particularly accused the Congress of following appeasement politics towards Dalit, backward, and tribal people. In this way, he opposed the BJP’s ‘slogan’ of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (unity with each other, development for all).
In their midst appeared the BJP presidential candidates, namely the Janjgir Lok Sabha candidate, Kamlesh Jangde and Radheshyam Rathia, representing the Raigarh Lok Sabha constituency. Leading the rally, Prime Minister Modi addressed the gathering of enthusiastic people, sharing the party’s principles for the welfare of the poor, youth, women, and farmers. He criticized Congress for its mere sympathy for eradicating poverty during its rule, of more than decades while getting rich.
Modi boasted the fact that he had managed to free 25 crore impoverished people in the past ten years, while the earlier regimes were presumed to be only concerned about the rich. He said that while the Congress scoffed at the BJP’s promises to bring sacred places of worship, his party completed the project of building the Ram temple in Ayodhya, a pilgrimage that people had longed for so many years.
Before addressing the rally, Modi acknowledged the presence of Acharya from the Ramnamis community, praising their devotion to Lord Rama and their dedication to nature. He referenced their prediction a century ago regarding the establishment of a Ram temple, which Modi attributed to the BJP’s efforts.
PM Modi criticized the Congress for allegedly prioritizing its own interests over those of the nation, rejecting the party’s arrogance and refusal to cooperate in the Ram temple’s construction. He labeled this disrespect towards revered figures like Mata Shabari and described it as an insult to saints and Hindu beliefs.
