Bilaspur: Videos of people stealing chana sacks from a truck that met an accident have been making rounds on the internet. In the video, a mob is seen carrying away sacks of Channa from the unattended truck.
Reportedly, the accident occurred on Friday in Bilaspur city. According to the information given by Bilaspur Additional Superintendent of Police, Umesh Kashyap two trucks collided with each other on the highway in the Hirri Police station area.
“One truck was loaded with ‘chana’ (gram). The people who were passing from there the nearby villagers stole it,” said Kashyap interacting with the media.
A case of theft and accident has been lodged, he added stating that the investigation is underway.
