Niece commits suicide as her 65 years old aunt files FIR alleges to steal her ornaments worth Rs. 30,000

Raipur: Kanti Nishad, the 65 years old woman who lived alone in her Khamardih home said that her niece Radha Nishad lived with her during the lockdown period for 3 months.

She accused that during this period she stole her valuable gold ornaments and also a cash amount of 30,000. She also filed an FIR against her, following which police took her for investigations in the Khamardihi police station.

As it was going to be dark, the police personnel dropped her back home in their patrolling van but as soon as she reached the area, she escaped from them and ran to the 3rd floor of an apartment and committed suicide from there. The additional SP of the city confirmed the news and also said all angles of the investigation shall be looked upon by them. 

Radha Nishad, all of 26 years old used to live in a PG in DD Nagar area and originally belongs from Raigarh. She used to live here to work in a store but her aunt accused that she lived with her during lockdown when the incident took place.
