Sukma: Brutality of Naxalites came to the fore in the Naxal-affected Sukma district of Chhattisgarh today, when Naxalites killed a villager in Pollampally. Sources reveal that after killing the villager, his bike was set on fire.
Superintendent of Police, Sunil Sharma has confirmed the incident. Reportedly, 50 to 60 Naxalites dressed in rural costumes came to Madkam Joga’s House, located 500 meters away from Pollampalli police station. The Naxalites attacked Madkam Jogan with sticks and murdered him in front of his wife and child. Later, a pamphlet was thrown on the spot in which the Konta Area Committee of Naxalites have confessed to the murder and accused Madkam of being an informer.
The Naxalites had set his vehicle parked outside his house on fire. Chhattisgarh Police reached the spot and started an investigation. The deceased used to run a grocery shop nearby.
