Abhujmad: What horror the child might have been through to see her mother being killed brutally. In an attempt to rob, two unknown assailants brutally murdered a mother of 6 in Abhujmad and buried her. The matter is being probed by the Kotwali Police station Narayanpur after an 8-year-old girl, the daughter of the deceased and the only victim lodged a complaint against the assailant.
On preliminary investigations it is learnt that Maini Bai resident of Tudko of Abhujman was murdered by Ayatu Wadde and Guddu Kumeti who had intentions to steal the funds the lady had received from the Baghel govt as financial assistance. Reportedly four years ago, the father of the girl was driven away by the Naxals and murdered for which the state administration had offered an ex-gratia to the Naxal victim.
Two accused have been currently nabbed and further investigations are underway.
