Raipur: MP Brijmohan Agrawal returned to Raipur from New Delhi after the Parliament session on Saturday. Speaking to the media at a press conference, he discussed several important matters, such as the late train, the airport, Naxalite, and the proposed tribal university in Bastar.
To get political rivals vanquished, Agrawal came up with very bitter allegations on the Naxalite issue, saying that the Congress party supports Naxalites. To observe that new evidence for this claim surfaces from time to time, to the effect that the Congress party had links with the Naxalites. Agrawal stated that the present BJP government is better so far as combating the Naxalite menace is concerned and proudly claimed that the BJP has eliminated more Naxalites in six months than the Congress has done in five years.
Agrawal also disclosed the situations and perceptions he got from the Parliament as a trainee and said that he was satisfied with the learning situation it offered. He pointed out that during the session, he discussed vital matters, including the improvement of Raipur airport up to the international level and issues apropos train cancellation and delay. Among other things, these reassurances entailed realizing early and effectively these railway problems, focusing on enhancing train services and stations.
In the case of railway projects, Agrawal described the current work done on a third rail track and also revealed that, in the same way, there are expectations that improvement in technology will help to fasten the speed of the project. He got the details and informed us that there are around 22 railway projects in progress, with remarkable findings in the railway stations of Chhattisgarh. The new government at the centre has assured ₹7,000 crore for the development of the state, which is far from the ₹300 crore doled out to the state in the past five years while the congress was in power.
Altogether, MP Brijmohan Agrawal’s remarks are a result of his condemnation of the Congress party’s handling of Naxalite issues and his positive expectation of the existing infrastructural projects under the existing administration.
