Jashpur: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be on a tour of Jashpur district today. He will leave from the helipad of the capital Raipur at 3 pm and will reach Bagiya helipad of Jashpur district at 4:30 pm. Chief Minister Sai will join the Bagiya booth tomorrow under the BJP membership campaign “More Booth More Abhiyan”, where he will meet party workers and local leaders and work to strengthen the campaign.
Meanwhile, Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will go to Kawardha today to meet the prisoners arrested in the Loharidih incident case. He will leave from Bhilai residence at 9 am and will meet the prisoners in Kawardha district jail from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. During this, he will take information related to the incident and take stock of the condition of the prisoners. After the meeting, Bhupesh Baghel will return to Raipur residence at 2:30 pm.
BJP is preparing to take a big leap in the membership drive. On September 25, the party will launch the “More Booth More Abhiyan” with the target of making 11 lakh new members. This campaign will be run at all polling booths on the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary. The Chief Minister, State President, Ministers, MLAs and party workers will themselves make more than 100 members. They will stay at the booths for 5-7 hours and meet the public and connect them with the membership drive. This campaign will run till October 2 and will be publicly promoted by the party till October 15.
