Raipur: A special mobile vaccination campaign by the Chhattisgarh government is introduced to expedite the vaccine administrations across the state.
Under the campaign, the RBSK Viva Team Mobile Vaccination vehicle has been deployed that will cover four urban wards in Raipur. A doctor and a pharmacist would accompany the vaccinator in the mobile unit.
The administration has sorted predetermined routes of the mobile vaccination van that will administer vaccines to people above 45 years of age. As per the plan, the mobile van on Friday will reach the citizens at Sant Kabir das Ward, Rajeev Gandhi Ward, Pt, Ravishankar Ward, and Thakur Pyarelal Ward. On Saturday, the team will administer vaccines to the individuals of Yatyatanlal Ward, Raman Mandir Ward, Brahminpara, and Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya. Beneficiaries of Banjari Mata Ward, Shaheed Hemu Kalani Ward, Swami Vivekananda Sadar Bazar Ward, and Pt. Sunderlal Sharma Ward would be administered the vaccine on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Principal Secretary of Health, Dr Alok Shukla has deployed staff of the health department for a door-to-door survey of vaccination, based on which the health department would formulate immunization schemes.
So far,71,79,201 individuals have been shielded against the virus. Amongst them, 60,30,719 received the first dose, while 11,48,482 beneficiaries were administered the second dose.
