After their defeat in the urban local body and three-tier panchayat elections, Senior BJP MLA from Raipur North Purandar Mishra took on the Congress abusing it. Pointing to BJP’s vision of a “Congress mukt” India, he also underlined the fact that the party would soon be reduced to a single room and stuck.
“Mishra rued the way Congress government has run governance and the issue of corruption, saying that several IAS officers are in jail at present.” The Congress directed these officers to amass black money, saying he thought it was only these officers that had to suffer for that, making them sink so low that they foresaw the collapse of Congress.
Mishra then took a dig at the tradition of raising cows by the Yadavs, highlighting the surreal fact that he has had bail granted. He comments on the irony of a leader facing legal problems in a community famous for being humble and having a traditional type of life.
She also mentioned the deep-rooted factionalism in the Congress; every leader in the party is from its own faction. Devendra Yadav is also viewed as a supporter of the erstwhile Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel; he pointed out,, in particular,, the divisions that were present among resources members of Congress. Mishra, however, asks why a 140-year-old party is plagued by so much internal infighting and strife, which is, according to him, a principal reason behind its decline.
MLA Mishra painted a gloomy picture for the Congress party, stating that it lost back-to-back elections and that the BJP’s mission of wiping Congress out of the politics of the country is well on course.
