Raipur: CM Bhupesh Baghel appreciated the efforts of the Mitanins and the rural health workers to curb the spread. He interacted with them through video conferencing at his residence office in the capital to enquire about the current conditions.
COVID situations of Jashpur, Korea, and Bastar districts were discussed during the meet. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Subrata Sahu, and Chief Minister’s Secretary Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi also attended the virtual interaction.
Chief Minister Baghel said,” in this unprecedented spread of the virus, mitanin and rural health workers in rural areas are working firmly to break the chain.” He also delineated the shortcomings of the state in relation to the lack of awareness in villages about covid protocols, handwash, masks, sanitizers, vaccines, and isolation.
Keeping in mind the social backwardness of the villages of the state, CM Baghel directed the education of Mitanin and health care workers in terms of COVID and ordered the implementation of stringent precautions. He also appealed to these healthcare workers to educate and promote COVID norms amongst the villagers.
In the meanwhile, Chief Minister Baghel also communicated with the authorities of all district panchayats over the measures taken to break the chain.
