Raipur: It has been raining continuously for two days in Chhattisgarh. Due to this, there has been heavy damage to the crops. Paddy procurement has also been affected due to incessant rains. Similarly, reports of paddy soaking have also come to the fore from many places.
n view of this, Food Minister Amarjit Bhagat has called a meeting of officials today. There will be a meeting at Surguja Sadan at 12.30 pm. In the meeting, Minister Amarjeet will take stock of the condition of the paddy procurement centres after the rains.
