Raipur: A mega fashion and dance show, ‘Twilight’ took place in Raipur to showcase the performances of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans (LGBT) community. the program was organised at the Mukta-Kashi platform of the Department of culture. The onlookers were stunned over the performances of the transgenders.
In the concluding session, the first performance was given by the artists of Swaragini Group from Ratanapur. The artists danced on Ganesh Vandana, Saraswati Vandana, Dhar of the state song Arpa Parri, Chhattisgarhi Sua Geet, Karma Geet, Dadaria, and Holi ke Phag Geet.
Award winner Kathak performer, Yuvraj Badh of Raipur performed on Shiv Vandana and received accolades for his style in Kathak Tihai. A team of artists from Odisha danced on Bollywood theme and a fashion show was organized by Siddhant Behera, a designer from the third gender community. The show showcased the contribution of LGBT community in spheres of art and culture.
