Raipur: Recently, the Maoists assaulted and killed a physically challenged kid in the Bijapur district. This incident occurred just a few days after the deadly Dantewada Case, where 10 Reserved Guard personnel were killed in a blast.

The Bijapur District ASP, Chandrakant Gavarna, talked about the incident saying that the name of the victim was Hadma Av lam, who was just a 28-year-old boy. He lived just 40-50 km from the IED Point, and according to the reports, he is blind in one eye.

It was reported that Hadma was roaming around the forests with a few of his friends, collecting wood to build a house. At that time, they were all attacked by the Maoists, and Hadma Avlam was struck by an axe which ultimately led to his death. His friends were able to escape from the situation due to the darkness.

After that, the Maoists also dumped the body in a nearby village which helped them to terrorize the villagers to a great extent. The locals found the body on Tuesday, 2 May, after which they alerted the police.
