Raipur: A cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday at the CMs residence office Raipur under the chairmanship of Bhupesh Baghel. The meeting saw a list of important discourse on Scheduled Caste’s and Tribes and OBCs.

Baghel informed the constitution of separate advisory committees for Scheduled Castes and Tribes and Other Backward Classes.

Speaking about progress in the Education system in Sarguja and Bastar division- Baghel announced recruitment of 12849 teachers. The cabinet has further decided to provide a bonus of 2-10 per cent for all teachers per year.

Working in the interest of the farmers of the state, the administration has raised the bar of loan from corporate banks to three lakhs at zero per cent interest. Further a sum of Rs 30,000 has been allocated for farmers who complete an agreement tenure of 25 years. This funds will be raised by 6 per cent, the cabinet added. Around 3.14 acres of land has been identified in Sector 19 of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar for the construction of Krishi Bhawan.

Under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, post-facto approval was given to produce a short film on the culture of Chhattisgarh and a documentary on the 75 years of independence and the creation of a new India in the next 25 years.

Baghel also announced the organization of Chhattisgarh Olympics in order to promote physical fitness in the state.

Bills like Interest Subvention Rules 2021 on cooperative loans of farmers ans Chhattisgarh State Hydroelectric Project (Pump Storage Based) Establishment Policy 2022 were also passed during the meeting.
