Raipur: Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, has made the decision to delay the establishment of an off-campus study center for Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, the music university in Asia situated in Khairagarh. The original plan was to introduce five diploma courses at this off-campus center located in Raipur. However, due to opposition from the residents of Khairagarh, Chief Minister Baghel has chosen to postpone the implementation of these courses. This decision highlights the government’s commitment to valuing and respecting the sentiments of the community.
The trigger for this choice came after a meeting between Yashoda Verma, MLA of Khairagarh, and Chief Minister Baghel. During their discussion, Verma conveyed the concerns and sentiments expressed by Khairagarh’s residents regarding the proposed diploma courses in Raipur.
Chief Minister Baghel emphasized that public sentiment plays a role in governance and declared that ensuring satisfaction among Khairagarh’s residents is a priority for his government. Taking into account dissatisfaction and opposition voiced by Khairagarhs people regarding initiating diploma courses at the off-campus study center in Raipur, it has been decided to halt launching these proposed diploma programs. This decision reflects the government’s dedication to maintaining harmony and respecting the emotions of communities.
The primary focus of Chief Minister Baghel’s administration is to prioritize the hopes and feelings of the people. Their aim is to make sure that all forthcoming decisions are, in line, with the welfare and concerns of the residents of Khairagarh and the wider Chhattisgarh community.
