Raipur: The three-day orientation program on BJP training to party MPs and MLAs in Chhattisgarh is scheduled to begin today with the inauguration by the National President of the BJP, JP Nadda. The event will take place in the Tibetan Monastery of the city of Mainpat, situated in the district of Surguja. Nadda will reach Darima Airstrip via a special flight at 12:30 PM, and he will reach Mainpat by road.
The general population is not welcome to attend this exclusive training, and it will be a closed-door event. The first day would entail two training sessions by JP Nadda, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, and B. Satish. The participants will do a total of 12 sessions in the following two days. The 2nd day will incorporate 6 sessions with a major trainer as the Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be the main speaker in the closing session, which will include the leaders of the country, such as B.L. Santosh and Shiv Prakash.
The state government has put up a huge force in terms of the protection of the event. There are three Superintendents of Police, four Additional SPs and approximately 800 officers of the security force who have been deployed to provide security to the high-profile people, including Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, cabinet ministers and MPs. On the way to Mainpat, police barricades and checkpoints are established, and tough screening policies are followed.
Hotels and resorts in Mainpat are already at full capacity because ministers and legislators have already started coming since Sunday afternoon. The training camp is expected to increase grassroots level communication, enhance the delivery of government schemes and shift back to local concerns as well as poll manifestos. It is also viewed as a strategic move as a way of gearing the party towards the forthcoming elections in the state.
