Raipur: With the Bhupesh Baghel government turning two and a half on June 17, the opposition has embarked on a mission to assail the government in power.
Former CM Dr Raman Singh announced a nationwide campaign against the Baghel government on Saturday to defame them. The former CM took to his microblogging site to tweet against the political party in power.
The tweet reads ” The Baghel government has completed half of its tenure. It has failed to fulfil all its bogus commitments of complete waiver of loans, one-time support price, two-year bonus, allowances, employment and pension. What have you done? #Jawaab Do Bhupesh.” Several BJP leaders tweeted #JawabDoBhupesh in support of Dr Raman.
He also attacked CM Baghel over his pledge to uplift the employment rate of the state as said in his manifesto. He said that CM had promised an unemployment allowance of Rs 25 and a Rs 10,000 government allowance in his manifesto during the elections.
The BJP launched a state-wide campaign ‘Mahabiyan’ marking two and half years of the Congress government in power. It announced to continue the campaign until 17 June, during which Dr Raman would touch down every division of the state. Dr Raman has been targeting every department of the state administration over their failures.
On 17 June, the BJP was informed to release a report card in a press conference highlighting the flaws and failures of the current government.
