Once again the Income Tax Department team has conducted raids in Chhattisgarh. The IT team has raided the premises of former Food Minister Amarjeet Bhagat. Along with this, IT raids are going on in the capital Raipur, Durg district and other places of the state. The IT team is investigating by going through the documents. This raid has created a stir in the state.
According to the information received, the Income Tax Department team has conducted raids in different parts of the state early today. The IT team has also reached the house and office of former minister Amarjeet Bhagat in Ambikapur and the house and office in Raipur MLA Colony. Teams from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh have reached the residence of former minister Bhagat. About 15 officers reached Amarjeet’s residence at 7 in the morning. Where two teams are scanning the documents.
At the same time, the IT team has raided the house of businessman Amar Hora in Law Vista Society along with Chandrabhan Sherwani in Rajiv Nagar, Raipur. A raid has also been conducted on Sandeep Jain’s premises in Telibandha. Raid has been conducted in the house and office of Chauhan Group in Durg-Bhilai.
The IT team has also raided builder Ajay Chauhan’s office in Ramnagar and Chauhan Estate near Maurya Talkies. The IT team has also reached the premises of Hanumant Rice Industries located at Durg Green Chowk. Also, the IT team has reached the house of SK Kejriwal, resident of house number 32/8 located in Panchavati Society, Bhilai.
Regarding the raids of the Income Tax Department in different parts of the state, Home Minister Vijay Sharma said that the poor people are in need of ration. The public had taken revenge, the government will not say anything in it.
