Raipur: The Raipur police on Sunday busted a fake e-challan racket based on the complaint of an applicant who received a fake challan under the Old Basti Police Station. Around 6 including 2 men and 4 females have been arrested. The main accused in the racket is identified as Vibhanshu Garg.

Acting on the complaint filed by Hitesh on January 23rd 2022, the police swung into action looking for the unknown accused involved. Hitesh in his complaint said that he got an e-challan for driving without a helmet which he cleared immediately. Following this, he received a complaint of the same offence on July 1 2022 through WhatsApp by a woman named CJM.

A 10-member team was dispatched to Delhi which busted the fake e-challan under the company named Value Services Private Limited Company in Tilak Nagar. 25 PCs, 35 mobiles, fake sim cards, pen drives, and laptops have been seized. During the investigation, it is learnt that the accused defrauded people from Orissa, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
