Sports: Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar tested positive for COVID lately. The super cricketer took to Twitter to share the news, saying that he has quarantined himself at home after testing positive.

His tweet read, “I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative. I’ve quarantined myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols as advised by my doctors.”

He thanked all his fans for the support and affection. Also expressed gratitude towards all the healthcare professionals of the country. 

Sachin Tendulkar departed from International cricket in 2013. The legend embraced his skills in the Road Safety World Series held in Raipur. Scoring 30 off 23 balls in the final against Tillakaratne Dilshan-led side to give his side a solid start as they posted 181/4 in their 20 overs. India reigned the Series whilst playing against Sri Lanka.

The tournament aimed at creating awareness about road safety featured former cricketers from top cricketing nations like England, South Africa, the West Indies and Bangladesh.
